About The Position

Join a global leader in the magnet wire industry, where you will be an integral part of the magnet wire testing laboratory. You will conduct quality tests for magnet wire, ensuring adherence to quality specifications and supporting research and development initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred.
  • 1+ years of GMP experience.
  • 1+ years of experience within quality and quality control lab tech roles.
  • 1+ years of experience with basic laboratory techniques.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of computers.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS).
  • High attention to detail, organized, with above-average mechanical skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete quality tests of magnet wire for quality specifications, investigation, design proposals, R&D, improvement, and performance.
  • Conduct testing on QA and experimental runs, action requests, and sample orders.
  • Assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, and lubricants.
  • Perform inspections and analyses of raw materials and chemical products to ensure specification adherence.
  • Conduct a range of complex tests requiring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Read, understand, and use detailed instructions; perform testing; enter data; and prepare reports or charts to report test results.
  • Utilize chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and management to analyze, solve, and correct problems.
  • Use computer programs, quality systems, and tools; actively participate in the quality management system.
  • Follow all procedures, methods, and guidelines to meet quality, safety, and production goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare company reports.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to maintain positive working relationships.
