About The Position

Join our 3D Printing Materials R&D team in San Jose, CA as a Lab Technician, supporting innovative material development through hands-on lab work, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. You will contribute to new product development with a focus on formulation and material testing, helping drive technical progress in 3D printing. You will play a key role in advancing next-generation 3D printing materials that enable cutting-edge applications in healthcare and consumer products.

Responsibilities

Support product development activities under the supervision of technical staff.
Conduct laboratory-based research activities including formulation development and material characterization.
Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project timelines and deliverables.
Collect, analyze, and summarize experimental data from instrumentation and measurements.
Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks and documentation.
Prepare clear and concise written reports to communicate key findings and experimental outcomes.
Communicate experimental results and observations with engineering teams, seeking feedback and guidance as needed.
Operate safely and responsibly within a laboratory environment.
Take initiative in optimizing processes and contributing to technical strategy for material development.
Identify opportunities to improve lab workflows and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for material-related issues.
Assist in evaluating new equipment and technologies for material characterization and testing.
