Build a variety of skills related to quality procedures, policies and operating equipment safely and efficiently. What to expect: This is a heavy industry environment with high safety and quality standards. You start training on day shift working 8 hr. shifts, M-F, after initial training period of 1 to 4 weeks the shift will be Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6:45pm to 7am.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or several years of foundry quality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic proficiency in general business and/or function specific software programs
