About The Position

Our client is a well-established aerospace and metal finishing company specializing in precision chemical processing, anodizing, and surface treatments. This role supports production through routine chemical testing and process control activities in a laboratory environment. The Lab Technician performs routine chemical tests, solution checks, and documentation to support daily production processes. This includes monitoring chemical concentrations, assisting with process adjustments, and ensuring compliance with customer and aerospace standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience (chemistry, plating, anodizing, semiconductor, or related).
- Comfortable working around chemicals in a production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with pH testing, titrations, or chemical mixing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily chemical testing on plating and anodizing solutions (pH, titrations, concentration checks).
- Prepare chemical solutions per standard procedures.
- Record test results accurately and maintain lab documentation.
- Assist with adjusting tank chemistry under supervision.
- Monitor chemical usage and maintain inventory levels.
- Calibrate and maintain lab equipment such as pH meters and titration tools.
- Support production and quality teams with process-related testing.
- Follow all safety, PPE, and chemical handling procedures.
