Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine testing on raw materials, in process materials, and finished products to ensure quality compliance. Collect, prepare, measure, and analyze material samples for laboratory testing. Conduct quality inspections across production stages including Extrusion, Press, Converter, and finished goods. Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment according to standard procedures. Document test results and maintain accurate laboratory records and tracking systems. Identify and report nonconforming materials or products and notify appropriate teams for corrective action. Support investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for quality issues. Assist with incoming raw material inspections and supplier quality verification. Provide quality support across Production, Warehouse, Customer Service, Demand Planning, Stockroom, and Paper operations. Participate in internal, customer, and certification audits. Maintain laboratory organization, safety, and compliance with company procedures. Communicate testing results and provide daily shift reports. Education and Experience Minimum of an associate degree in a technical, scientific, or related field. Laboratory, manufacturing, or quality experience is a plus but not required; entry-level candidates are welcome to apply, as full training will be provided. Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication). Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Required Skills/Abilities Basic knowledge of laboratory testing methods and quality control processes. Strong attention to detail with accurate data collection, documentation, and recordkeeping. Effective analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data entry, tracking, and reporting. Strong communication and collaboration skills across production, quality, and operations teams. Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with rotating responsibilities. Ability to operate laboratory and analytical testing equipment. Experience with GC/MS Headspace, OTR/WVTR systems, DSC, or similar analytical instruments is a plus. Physical Requirements Wears required PPE, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection on the production floor. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift and move materials up to 25 to 50 pounds. Safely handle laboratory samples, tools, and testing equipment. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and production activity. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail.
