Requirements

• Associates Degree in MLS (preferred)
• Certificate training program at an approved school for Medical Technician level training leading to state licensure
• Current Florida License TC - Laboratory Clinical Technician
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Previous laboratory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• A Laboratory Technician works closely and with the advice of a Laboratory Technologist in the performance of diagnostic procedures.
• Procedures are performed as efficiently and expeditiously as possible.
• Laboratory Technicians may exercise limited independent judgment and work under the supervision of a Laboratory Technologist, Supervisor or Director
