About The Position

Taylor Lake Laboratories is an ISO 17025-accredited environmental microbiology laboratory specializing in microbial analyses for cleanroom and compounding facilities. We provide high-quality testing and data integrity to support USP <797> compliance for sterile compounding pharmacies, hospitals, and related industries.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Microbiologist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about microbiology, aseptic environments, and analytical quality who thrives in a regulated laboratory setting.

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log in samples in preparation for analysis. Review sample and any attached documentation to assign an identification number and enter information into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Responsible for discarding samples in biohazard waste containers
• Daily communication of issues related to laboratory equipment, supplies, workload scheduling and participation in continuous improvement activities
• Contact customer, when necessary, to obtain and clarify missing or unclear information to ensure that identification of client code, test code, and sample contents are accurate
• Prepare packages for pick up by shipping vendors. Follow appropriate procedures to send packages and maintain all related documentation
• Perform other related duties as needed
