About The Position
Manteo Community Health Center, a part of Ocracoke Health Center, Inc., is seeking a Full-Time Lab Technician / Phlebotomist to join our team! We are a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to delivering excellent, passionate care to our tight-knit community! We provide comprehensive primary care to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, and focus on serving underserved and rural communities.
Requirements
- Experience with blood draws (clinical setting preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to keep patients calm and comfortable
- Dependable and team-oriented
- Certification preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection with accuracy and care
- Prepare, label, and process lab samples
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper storage/handling
- Work closely with providers and nursing staff
