What You'll Do: The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the Wet Chem laboratory by following methodologies and preparing samples.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required
• 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation
• Document activities and report results accurately and concisely
• Assist group leaders and analysists in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas

• Other duties as required
