Waypoint Analytical is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nutrien, LTD.What You'll Do:The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the laboratory by following methodologies, performing analysis, and interpreting data from samples.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples for a wide variety of testing procedures.
• Follow the outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures for the tests assigned.
• Learn to operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
• Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner.
• Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas.

• Other duties as required.
