Job Summary The Quality Lab Technician is tasked with inspecting material for conformance to certain specifications. This position will interact with quality employees, quality manager, paving crews, asphalt plant employees, vendors, management staff, and inspectors.
Requirements
- Has acquired a high school Diploma or equivalent experience/Vocational School graduate
- Capable to employ the best judgment and resourcefulness in performing testing and reporting
- Mechanical competence is required
- Ability to use and understand basic Microsoft Office products
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Most of the work performed will be in a climate controlled lab on concrete floors
- Will also work outside on uneven surfaces while collecting samples from manufacturing plants and job sites
- Comfortable lifting 50lbs multiple times per day
