About The Position

Assists the Clinical Laboratory Scientist in the pre-analytic, and post-analytic phase of testing, following rules set by CLIA, CA Bus. And Prof. Code. Performs blood draws and functions as a backup to the Laboratory Assistant when needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year phlebotomy experience in a hospital laboratory.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• California CPT1 Certification.
• BLS Card.
• Hospital Fire Card.
• Assault Response Competency (ARC) required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• One to two years of experience as Lab Technician preferred.
