Perform a variety of laboratory tests used in the quality assurance, research, and development of products, formulations, and applications. SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE - $2,500 for day shift hire and $3,500 for night shift hire - this will be paid out over a 1-year period IFF is seeking laboratory technicians to join our team in Gibson City, IL. As a Lab Tech in this location, you will work in a unionized, industrial laboratory environment. Ten-hour days per week, as well as weekends and holidays, are required. Requirements

4 Year degree or 2 years lab experience
Ability to work safely, including but not limited to use of proper personal protective equipment, such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed safety shoes
Must be comfortable working with computerized control systems
Able to tolerate exposure to hot and cold conditions, according to the season
Must be in good physical health
Must be able to climb ladders
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to read/write and follow instructions
Must be able to communicate thoughts and ideas effectively
Ability to determine proper tools and equipment needed to perform a task
Additionally, to qualify for this position, you must be proficient in English, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
