About The Position
UPMC Bedford is searching for a Laboratory Support Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Lab Technician to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! This position will work 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. / 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title & salary based on their experience and education. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus if placed as a Medical Lab Tech or Medical Lab Scientist! Medical Laboratory Technician $10,000 sign on for a 2-year commitment Medical Laboratory Scientist $15,000 sign-on for a 2-year commitment. In this role, you will provide authority, responsibility and accountability for the accurate performance of laboratory testing of a routine and advanced nature. These tests are used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients and in the evaluation of a patient's response to treatment. Apply competent clinical knowledge to achieve accurate clinical testing which leads to quality patient care outcomes.
