About The Position

The Lab Support Engineer position is intended to be a technical resource within the ArcLight Wireless team that can function independently or within a team working with senior engineers and Carrier research and development teams. Engineers will be providing miscellaneous lab support including, but not limited to, cable labeling, organizing, fault testing, and general support required by Carrier specific specifications.

Requirements

• Experience with RF Cabling
• Basic understanding of RF Cabling and lab environments
• Familiarity with Network technologies and protocols
• Excellent PC experience, familiar with Windows Office, saving files, creating folders, installing device drivers, troubleshooting common Windows problems
• Experience with different mobile operating systems such as Android and iOS
• Dependable, trustworthy, good attention to detail, organized and efficient

Responsibilities

• Provide miscellaneous lab support including cable labeling, organizing, fault testing, general support
• Proactively manage tasks and support Carrier with areas identified by the engineer
• Test devices as a consumer to find items that can impact the quality of the use experience
• Perform testing and engineering services for wireless clients in RF Chamber environments
• Report results in a clear and concise manner to management or customers
• Ability to manage yourself and develop your own solutions to problems and issues
• Support experienced engineers in their jobs to assure the overall quality of the team
