About The Position
Laboratory Supervisor - New Johnsonville, TN SAFETY Accountable for SHE compliance and performance of assigned shift Provide a safe environment for team Complete Incident investigations for shift Set expectations for strict adherence on SHE policies and procedures and hold team accountable to these standards Ensure assigned shift team members complete all SHE training on-time Provide strong safety leadership to the team Lead Toolbox meetings on prescribed frequency Positive safety dialogue to keep safety at the forefront with the team Engage shift team on safety and 5S improvements QUALITY Accountable to meet quality metrics for assigned shift Set expectations for strict adherence to all policies and procedures and hold team accountable to these standards Ensure shift team executes assigned work with a high attention to detail and accuracy including proper completion of all records and system entries Ensure assigned shift team members complete all MasterControl training on-time Responsible to maintain assigned laboratory tracking data Complete accurate analysis as required Complete reviews of data output from the laboratory including SQC and CoA Complete a variety of assignments and projects in laboratory as assigned PRODUCTION Establishes expectations to the shift team and is accountable to meet shift production targets and productivity metrics including on-time delivery Engages shift team to develop and implement improvement initiatives Establishes shift expectations for 5S and accountable to deliver a high standard Support performance reviews and disciplinary action. Support operations assignments and improvement actions including procedure updates, management of change, training, etc. Accountable to ensure employees are competent to perform assigned job ORGANIZATION Support employee development Manage shift administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree Chemistry or other technical field with a minimum of 5-years laboratory and managerial experience.
Nice To Haves
- IS0-9001 training preferred.
