Lab Service - FILL IN
About The Position
We are currently posting for a FILL IN position in lab department. A requirement to receive this position will be the successful passing of 5 tests. The tests are: - Basic Industrial Math Exam - Vocabulary Comprehension Exam - Reading Comprehension Exam - Computer Literacy Exam - Data Entry Exam The first exam, data entry, will be completed onsite and must receive a 90% error free rating before taking the next three (3) exams through Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) and the fourth test will be taken at Affinity Occupational Health. The most senior person to pass all five (5) exams will be given the position. All FVTC exams are set at High School education level with a passing threshold of 80% at the “basic” level. This fill-in position will learn all functions of the lab position. This position will be expected to complete tasks proficiently on an as needed basis. This position will work the normal rotation of their primary department and help as needed with lab needs. The initial training for this position will be conducted on day shift. The individual who accepts this position will be given two (2) weeks to trial the position to determine if they would like to accept the fill-in position. Training for Lab shall be completed within 90 days from trial period beginning date. Once their training is completed, they will return to their previous department and fill-in in the Lab department on an as needed basis. This job posting will be open for bidders until 2/8/2026.
