About The Position

Aspirus Iron River Hospital in Iron River, MI is seeking a LAB PHLEBOTOMIST to join our LABORATORY team! The Phlebotomist coordinates the data management for the laboratory, performing phlebotomy procedures and assisting with the general operation of the laboratory.

Requirements

• Must be eligible or certified as a phlebotomist by ASCP, NCA or equivalent certifying agency.
• Must be able to respond to common inquiries from patients, doctors, and employees.
• Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data management for the laboratory.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures.
• Assist with the general operation of the laboratory.
