About The Position

Lab PAA/Phlebotomist Ld oversees clerical/LPAA operations, including clerical support of laboratory operations, problem resolution, technical development and procedure implementation, etc. Evaluates and trains phlebotomy staff. As applicable for the laboratory section: Performs routine Laboratory clerical procedures, collects patient specimens; accessions and distributes specimens and / or blood products; prepares specimens for analysis; prepare blood products for patient and of blood products.

Requirements

• High school graduate
• 6 months previous laboratory experience clinical or hospital based is required
• Requirements for CLSC Area: Must possess or be eligible for national certification in phlebotomy
• certification in CPR is required

Nice To Haves

• Completion of phlebotomy training program (240 hours) preferred
• Experience in a Leadership position, preferred.
