About The Position

At WHOOP, we’re on a mission to unlock human performance and healthspan. WHOOP empowers members to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives. WHOOP Labs is where participants experience WHOOP in person, and the Front of House Contractor plays a key role in shaping that experience. We’re looking for someone who brings genuine hospitality, positive energy, and exceptional people skills to create a welcoming, comfortable, and memorable environment for every participant. This role is ideal for someone who loves hosting, connecting with people, and being the friendly face that sets the tone for the day. This is a W-2, Temporary role through the remainder of 2026, with an hourly pay range of $28 - $32. Candidates must be prepared to work in person at WHOOP Labs in Boston, MA 5 days each week.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, customer service, front desk, retail, or guest facing roles preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging with a wide range of participants
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple participants and schedules at once
  • Comfortable coordinating with multiple teams and providing real time updates
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to take initiative in maintaining a high-quality environment
  • Passion for health, wellness, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Ability to perform light physical tasks such as laundry, restocking supplies, and maintaining shared spaces
  • A baseline level of technical comfort, including the ability to answer general WHOOP product and membership questions and guide participants to the right resources when needed.
  • This role follows a consistent schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential, as this role supports participant arrivals and study schedule
  • Ability to remain engaged, energetic, and guest-focused throughout the shift

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all WHOOP Labs participants, providing a friendly, professional, and welcoming check-in experience
  • Clearly explain WHOOP Labs policies, study expectations, and available amenities to participants upon arrival
  • Act as a WHOOP brand ambassador, sharing what WHOOP is and why it matters while creating an engaging and trustworthy participant experience
  • Communicate with participants ahead of their visits via messaging platforms to provide directions, building access instructions, and arrival guidance
  • Coordinate participant flow across studies, ensuring Research Coordinators know who has arrived and are ready to begin sessions on time
  • Create a fun, comfortable, and inviting lab environment that encourages participants to return for future studies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space throughout the lab, including waiting areas, restrooms, and shared spaces
  • Support Research team with operational needs, including laundry, room resets, and general lab upkeep
  • Monitor and restock towels, snacks, beverages, and other participant amenities as needed
  • Anticipate participant needs and proactively address questions or concerns
