Requirements

Driver's License in the State of Florida
ASPT (Phlebotomy Technicians)
ASCP
AMT (Medical Technologists)
Paramedic
EMT (Emergency)
Medical Technologist
Medical Technologist Eligible to obtain
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in the State of Florida
RN (Registered Nurse) in the State of Florida
High School or equivalent
6 months in phlebotomy and 6 months BayCare related

Responsibilities

Collecting, receiving and processing of inpatient and outpatient specimens for testing
Communications with nursing regarding patient specimens
Referring specimens to outside laboratories
Interaction with physicians, clients and staff regarding referral lab tests
Performance of phlebotomy procedures
Performs other duties as assigned
