The Laboratory Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the testing laboratory. The Laboratory Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of testing processes while leading a team of scientists, technicians, and support staff. They also manage equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and troubleshoot technical issues. Additionally, the Laboratory Manager collaborates with customers, internal department heads, contributes to strategic planning, and assists in staff training and development. Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and hands -on management of laboratory operations, including sample intake, testing procedures, data analysis, and reporting, to meet quality, productivity, and turnaround time targets. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and regulatory requirements, conducting internal audits and addressing non -conformities as needed. Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of scientists, technicians, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Resource Allocation: Manage laboratory resources, including personnel, equipment, supplies, and materials, to optimize efficiency, minimize waste, and support business objectives. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and validation of laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper functioning and reliability of test results. Data Management: Develop and maintain systems for data collection, storage, and analysis, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and security of sensitive information. Client Relations: Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to understand their testing needs, address inquiries and concerns, and deliver high -quality service and support. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for laboratory personnel and visitors. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and workflow automation, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance laboratory efficiency and competitiveness.
