About The Position
Works under limited supervision to plan, coordinate, and supervise general duties and needs of laboratory. Maintains supplies, equipment, and personnel within laboratory. The Bann Lab is a molecular biology laboratory focused on cardiac regeneration and reprogramming. This position would help with starting up the lab, establishing organizational systems and operational processes critical to lab functioning. Candidates for this role would generally work under limited supervision to plan, coordinate, and supervise general duties and needs of laboratory. Maintains supplies, equipment, and personnel within laboratory. Ideally has strong organizational and operational skills. Ideal candidates will be proficient in cell culture and molecular biology techniques (DNA and RNA isolation, Western Blot, Co-Immunoprecipitation, Immunostaining), with a background in cardiovascular research.
