The research conducted by the Stress, Health, and Development Lab examines how stressful experiences influence physical health and disease risk across the lifespan. Current directions of the lab include understanding the pathways through which early experiences of stress contribute to disease risk in adulthood, with a particular focus on the role of the sleep and the immune system.
