Technician to support our engineering design, manufacturing test, and product diagnostics teams. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in tool installations, hardware (mechanical & electrical) validation, upgrades and troubleshooting, and a passion for precision and quality.   The Opportunity: ·       Enforce and maintain safety compliance, safety standards, 6S and documentation (logbooks, test procedures) ·       Support new system (Main Frame & Factory Interface) installations and new field upgrades ·       Perform complex electro-mechanical functions: design, test, troubleshooting, assembly ·       Handle experimental design circuitry, prototype models, and specialized test equipment ·       Troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical/mechanical issues ·       Handle Facility requests (FSR) and work closely with facilities, Eng. and safety teams to submit FSRs & close any gaps on hardware requirements during new tool installs, tool removals or upgrade   This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years of experience
  • Must have background in understanding and following Eng. drawings, Operational Method Sheets (OMS) and management of changes (MOC)
  • Ability to build custom cables from sketches or diagrams, including crimping and connector assembly
  • Requires strong understanding of manufacturing/engineering/lab processes and excellent communication skills
  • Highly detail focused, need careful and disciplined execution of tasks with a lot of steps

  • Semiconductor equipment manufacturing background

Responsibilities
