As a Lab Engineer, you will drive lab systems engineering, focusing on developing solutions to improve lab quality, compliance, and throughput. You will be responsible for monitoring, record keeping, and reporting for lab equipment, including maintenance, service, calibration, and testing activities. Your role will involve creating and developing test plans for new features on each product, recommending improvements for automated scripting for testing and archiving results, and driving lab execution, including engineering analysis, instrumentation, data analysis, and result reporting. You will also resolve reported bugs and root cause issues that could impact product quality and experience. Additionally, you will develop plans and cost estimates based on requirements, assess projects to analyze risks and rewards, drive procurement of equipment and other lab materials, and ensure lab preparedness, including bench setup and procurement of test equipment. Collaboration with functional teams such as IT, security, and facilities will be essential to maintain a successful lab, as well as developing and coordinating the design, development, and implementation of new ideas, processes, and systems for lab improvements needed to meet program deliverables.
