About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. As a member of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) & Propulsion Integrated Testing team, this role will build, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) test capabilities. This includes monitoring the status and functionality of satellite components and support equipment, working with multiple stakeholders to optimize operations and resolve disruptions in availability, and automating tests and test equipment. In addition to support for existing test capabilities, this role will utilize existing design documentation (examples: bill of materials, layout and wiring diagrams, build and bring-up procedures) to procure, build, commission, and integrate new HITL test assets for internal customers within Amazon Leo. You will collaborate with teams spanning software, avionics, vehicle integration, reliability, and more to ensure Amazon Leo satellites are tested with rigor.
