About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the Lab Coordinator over-sees the day-to-day processes of a specific satellite clinic , helps provide adequate schedule coverage, collects blood and other laboratory specimens, log specimens, prepares the samples for testing and analyzes the specimens that require CLIA waived and moderate complexity testing as requested following adequate documented training. The lab assistant coordinator also orders and stocks supplies, performs and monitors Quality Control for moderate and waived testing via laboratory policies and procedures with proper training. Acts as the laboratory quality assessment monitor, under the direct supervision of the Lab Manager and completes monthly Quality Assessment Reviews.
