About The Position

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is hiring a Lab Coordinator to coordinate daily lab operations for the Attention and Behavior Clinic. The lab manager will train all new staff in task design and application and EEG data collection while being available full time to maintain, log, and enhance existing hardware and identify and obtain new hardware as well as program new tasks. This position will also oversee data analysis and quality, oversee budgets and procurement, draft technical reports for grants and assist with future project development, IRB submissions and publication of study manuscripts. The successful candidate will assist with all study roles and be actively involved with participant recruitment, screening and enrollment (including completion of semi structured diagnostic interviews), updating regulatory documents, coordinating study efforts across team members, and collection of EMA survey and neurophysiology data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience for Advanced Professional position.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience for Senior Professional position.
  • Experience in the maintenance and enhancement of EEG hardware.
  • Experience in processing software and programming software for task adaptation and development.
  • Past research experience in behavioral health.
  • Some experience working with youth in clinical or research settings.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EEG/ERP data collection.
  • Experience programming basic cognitive tasks.
  • Experience developing surveys in REDCAP.
