As a Lab Chemist at Tradebe, you'll play a key role in supporting environmental safety by analyzing and testing hazardous materials in a laboratory setting. Requirements

• High school diploma and strong background in science required
• College-level science coursework or degree preferred
• Comfortable working around hazardous materials with proper PPE
• Able to wear a face respirator when needed
• Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of samples including pH, moisture content, titrations, and oxidation
• Perform advanced analyses like bomb calorimetry, GC, and metals testing
• Calibrate and maintain lab instruments (e.g., calorimeters, GC-MS, pH meters)
• Ensure compliance with EPA methods and company safety standards
• Manage proper disposal of lab waste and maintain clean workspaces
• Maintain inventory of lab supplies and assist with general lab operations
• Other duties as assigned
