The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at UC Irvine Health School of Medicine is dedicated to the diagnosis and understanding of human diseases through biomedical and clinical research. Using the latest technologies, our pathologists help advance medicine by finding better ways of diagnosing, managing and treating diseases. The laboratory studies the derivation of CPECS from human stem cells and the cell biology of the derived CPECs, as well as disease and aging-related features in pathology specimens of choroid plexus. Under supervision, the incumbent will perform routine experimental procedures and lab chores.
