Alton Memorial Hospital has a PRN Lab Associate I opportunity. Looking for a lab tech with phlebotomy experience to work in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Performs non-blood and blood specimen collection, specimen handling/routine processing and clerical duties associated with specimen collection.
- Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
- Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
- Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
