About The Position

Are you looking for a career as a Lab Associate I - Courier? Look no further than BJC! This position is working as a Courier and will not include any Phlebotomy. Join our Courier Service team to be an integral part of delivering precise and reliable laboratory results that impact patient outcomes positively. This Position will not include any Phlebotomy 40 Hours Per Week 3:00pm to 11:30pm Tuesday thru Saturday $$ Evening Shift Differential $$ Position involves transfering lab specimen

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience

Nice To Haves

• <2 years Experience
• < 2 years Supervisor Experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Phlebotomy

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy, positive patient identification, and positive patient interaction, proper collection and specimen integrity.
• Coordinates a simultaneous series of tasks accurately, including STAT orders and fluctuation in workload, prioritizing work to complete within scheduled hours and established turnaround times.
• Interacts with lab, clinical and other ancillary departments.
