About The Position
We’re seeking a Laboratory Assistant to provide customer service, perform phlebotomy, enter and manage lab orders, and process specimens for testing and reference lab shipment. This role includes collecting high‑quality samples, supporting patients and clinical staff, maintaining accurate data in the laboratory information system, and ensuring proper handling and routing of all specimens. Ideal candidates are detail‑oriented, professional, and committed to safety, accuracy, and excellent patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma including ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology is required.
- Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people in a positive manner.
Nice To Haves
- Data entry or typing skills preferred.
