About The Position

Chief Ethanol is seeking a Lab Assistant to join the Chief team. This position p erforms laboratory tests and analysis required to operate the plant efficiently and verify that products shipped meet company specifications .

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or GED, required.
• Previous laboratory experience r unning repetitive tests with accuracy and consistency .

Responsibilities

• Perform required tests and analysis on the different plant systems.
• Perform required tests and analysis on all discharge flows as defined by the plant environmental permits.
• Maintain a daily laboratory quality control sheet.
• Record all laboratory chemicals and equipment usage and keep the Quality Control Manager informed of these to maintain proper supplies.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use all safety equipment required by the company and take part in safety activities.
• Develop personal knowledge of lab procedures and processing operations .
