About The Position

Red Oak Medical Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a lab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine lab tasks such as cleaning and sterilizing equipment, maintaining inventory, and ordering supplies.
Collect, label, and process lab specimens.
Maintain accurate records of results in lab notebooks or digital systems.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Follow safety protocols and ensure the laboratory is compliant with all safety regulations.
