Our mission is to promote interdisciplinary research in neuroinflammation, which is recognized as a common factor in the development of diseases ranging from hypertension and obesity to Alzheimer’s disease and depression. Faculty from diverse backgrounds collaborate to improve scientific understanding of the mechanisms of neuroinflammation—findings that will have important clinical implications in the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.
