About The Position

Our mission is to promote interdisciplinary research in neuroinflammation, which is recognized as a common factor in the development of diseases ranging from hypertension and obesity to Alzheimer’s disease and depression. Faculty from diverse backgrounds collaborate to improve scientific understanding of the mechanisms of neuroinflammation—findings that will have important clinical implications in the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.
The Center for Neuroinflammation and Cardiometabolic Diseases at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a part-time Lab Assistant (Temp).

This is an important position. We need to support all the sponsored and non-sponsored research activities conducted in the Stern Lab.

Requirements

• Master's Degree and one year of related experience

• Experience in lab management
• Aseptic handling and maintenance of cell cultures
• Previous experience of working in a neuroscience-related lab
