The Lab Assistant/Processor Specialist is responsible for processing clinical specimens received in the laboratory. Under limited supervision and according to approved procedures, preforms a variety of laboratory support procedures including specimen collection, order entry, processing, all while maintaining patient confidentiality. The Lab Assistant/Processor accepts assignments to various work locations within the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic geographic locations and schedules as required. Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions and provide outstanding customer service
  • Demonstrated excellent time management skills- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Demonstrate a teamwork mindset, initiative and open to new learning experiences

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
  • Lab Data Entry experience
