About The Position

As the Outreach Lab Assistant, you will collect routine, STAT and other requested blood samples from multiple long-term care facilities. These specimens are then delivered and processed at the Main Line Health Lab. Are you also a savvy multitasker? Requirements

2 years lab experience required
High school graduate or equivalent
Valid driverï¿½s license and insured automobile, if appropriate
Maintains certification in the Packaging and Shipping of Hazardous Goods

Nice To Haves

Experience in an anatomic or clinical laboratory preferred.
Ability to work in more than 1 section of the lab preferred
Working knowledge of medical information systems preferred.
certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred
moderate knowledge of medical terminology
excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.
MA or related preferred
