About The Position

Are you a meticulous, customer-focused individual seeking a crucial role in patient diagnostics? Join our essential laboratory team as a Lab Assistant / Phlebotomist! You'll be at the heart of our operations, primarily in specimen processing and intake, ensuring the swift and accurate handling of vital samples to support patient care. You will: Specimen Management: Process, organize, and quickly move samples for testing; handle all lab send-out testing including packaging. Patient Focus: Practice positive patient identification; demonstrate HumanKindness and good communication skills. Teamwork: Take responsibility for workflow and foster collaboration. Phlebotomy (if applicable): Perform venous and capillary punctures on all age groups, following collection procedures. May assist with training. Testing (if regulated): Perform CLIA waived and moderately complex testing, evaluating results under direction. Operational Support: Perform routine maintenance, monitor inventory, stock supplies, and manage records.

Requirements

Meticulous Attention to Detail: Precision in sample handling and data.
Excellent Customer Service: Clear and kind communication.
High School Diploma/GED.
BLS-CPR within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

Lab Assistant/Phlebotomy certification
6 months acute care experience
