This Lab Assistant position is a Limited Term role ending on 10/31/2026. The role involves providing age-appropriate phlebotomy services, performing laboratory specimen processing, and utilizing clinical information systems to manage laboratory orders. Key responsibilities also include providing test results and information to patient care teams, creating accounts for laboratory specimens in the hospital's demographics/billing system, and training new employees. The assistant will also participate in process improvement efforts aimed at enhancing direct patient care and optimizing the flow of specimens through the laboratory.
