About The Position
Position Summary: Perform venous puncture, skin punctures (for bleeding time only), finger sticks for in-patients and out-patients. Perform clerical duties as assigned. Process specimens and delivers to different sections of the laboratory. Perform messenger duties of specimens.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy Certification a must.
- Current BLS Certification
- Ability to perform venous punctures, skin punctures, and finger sticks.
- Ability to work with computers.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a phlebotomist in a physician office or hospital setting preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Phlebotomy Registry preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a phlebotomist in a physician office or hospital setting preferred.
