ENL Laboratory Compensation range: $22.96 - $29.39 Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience Enloe Health is a Level II Trauma Center located in beautiful Northern California. POSITION SUMMARY: The Lab Assistant I (CPT I) collects blood samples from patients for laboratory testing. They routinely perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws.
Requirements
- Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be aware of chemical hygiene protocols, and handling requirements of biohazard materials.
- Must know and follow all universal precautions and be familiar with blood drawing safety devices.
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
- Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
- Current Phlebotomy Certificate CPT I issued by the California Department of Public Health.
