As a Laboratory Assistant working under the direct supervision of medical practitioners or laboratory personnel in both an inpatient or an outpatient setting, you collect blood specimens, label specimens, preserve, process, transport and store to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. You understand that you're helping real people who need your help to just feel better. You're up for the challenge and thrive in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, but always remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with professionalism and confidentiality.
