About The Position
Student Lab Assistants are responsible for assisting the lab coordinator with the set up and breakdown of Microbiology and/or Anatomy and Physiology labs. Daily tasks include wipe down benchtops, change bench paper, sterilize safety glasses, clean and put away any used materials, re-fill water and ethanol bottles, replace empty glove boxes, wash glassware and put away, set up anatomy models on benchtops, assist in preparing microbiology reagents.
Requirements
- Candidate must be a currently enrolled student at Mercer University
Nice To Haves
- Majoring and/or minoring in Biology or a closely related field is a plus.
- Previous lab experience is strongly preferred.
