About The Position
Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties. This position provides phlebotomy expertise, decision making, and problem solving skills based on in-depth knowledge of phlebotomy procedures. The role involves coordinating the collection, receipt in computer, processing, and delivery of patient specimens for tests performed by the laboratory, as well as performing microbiology specimen processing.
