Minimum Qualifications High school diploma (or GED ) and 1.5 years full-time related work experience OR, two years of post-secondary education and six months full-time related work experience. Excellent verbal/communication skills. Must be able to review, comprehend, and comply with all standard operating procedures. Considerable knowledge of applicable rules and regulations involving the husbandry of laboratory animals. Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician certification from the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science. Must possess a valid United States driver’s license for at least one year and maintain eligibility to operate University motor vehicles.
