We are currently seeking a Lab Analyst 3 to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Lab Analyst 3 at ICON, you will play a critical role in conducting complex laboratory analyses and supporting the delivery of high-quality data for clinical research studies. You will be responsible for performing advanced testing procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, with a focus on advanced analytical techniques and procedures.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Ligand binding assays experience.
  • Experience with ELISA, ECLIA, PK, PD, and immunogenicity.
  • Usage of relevant software (e.g. SoftMax Pro, Watson).
  • Neutralizing antibody or Flow Cytometry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced testing procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Execute experiments for method development under the direction of Senior Scientist.
  • Develop new scientific approaches to method development and communicate these to the science team.
  • Review and approve data of other scientists.
  • Communicate with team members and management regarding project status, purpose, scheduling, problems, etc.
  • Support communication with clients regarding project status by processing and summarizing data.
  • Provide scientific input to team about newly acquired technology investments.
  • Discuss scientific results with scientists and project manager.
  • Perform R&D projects.
  • Take initiative in process development and Work Instruction writing.
  • Document all experimentation legibly, logically, and reproducibly.
  • Comply with GLP and other appropriate regulations.
  • Provide key assay input to the validation and bioanalysis team(s).
  • Support Laboratory Operations staff regarding assay quality, expected results, troubleshooting, and data review.
  • Perform and document maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on advanced instrumentation.
