About The Position

The Lab Analyst position at Suburban Testing Labs involves generating analytical data to support environmental compliance and decision-making. Requirements

• Bachelor's in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Microbiology or related area; or Associate's Degree; or equivalent experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and other Windows software.
• Excitement and enthusiasm around learning new things and exceeding performance goals.
• Demonstrated team player with a high level of curiosity.
• Analytical, accurate, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Be trained to complete preparation and analyses in accordance with SOPs.
• Utilize state-of-the-art instruments & equipment.
• Receive mentoring from your assigned Senior Scientist/Chemist.
• Assess Quality Control and determine if results are valid for reporting.
• Enter data into LIMS in a timely manner and deliver data for peer review.
• Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of laboratory systems and testing protocols, instrumentation, and technology.
