Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Perform routine work in a clinical or research laboratory. The incumbent works under the close supervision of the Lab Manager or other lab personnel.
Requirements
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent; OR, High school senior with lab-based experience or demonstrated interest in the sciences
Nice To Haves
- Some lab experience and/or college level chemistry courses preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare media and reagents, such as stock solutions.
- Rinse and prepare glassware for cleaning.
- Deliver glassware to storage areas.
- Maintain clean and orderly laboratory area.
- Clean and maintain lab equipment.
- May check and replenish supplies.
- May assist with experiments and set-up.
- Perform simple, routine and repetitive laboratory tests and procedures as directed.
- Perform clerical duties as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
